Privacy
Privacy, in plain words
Calmalo does not ask who you are, and does not record what you feel.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts. The answer to "how does it feel" is used only to choose a practice in that moment, and is never sent anywhere or stored.
What stays on your device
If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it's remembered next time. The language you choose is remembered in a small cookie. You can clear both at any time from your browser's data.
Sound
All sound is generated inside your browser. No microphone is used and no audio is sent or received.
Analytics, only if you say yes
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, anonymously and in aggregate, how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly from which country, and on what kind of device. It tells us which guides are useful and what to write next.
- Google's script does not load at all until you accept. Declining changes nothing about how Calmalo works.
- We never send anything about practices or answers. What you feel is never measured.
- Google Analytics sets two cookies (
_gaand_ga_…) that last up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. - The data is processed by Google (Google Ireland Ltd. in the European Union) under its own privacy terms.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Declining removes the Analytics cookies.
